Well it’s been a long time since any of us have updates their Blogs. Has Blogging been replaced with Tweeting?

As this is only the second ever blog from the man with less hair every over he bowls and first one in a long time I will talk about how KFCC have begun the 2011 season. It’s been a great start for all the senior teams as well as continued improvement from the ever growing junior set up. There have been fantastic league results from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd team – with the 3rds yet to loose!

A major strength in the 1st team is our batting line up. In particular, the top order is very competitive this year with the return of familiar faces such as Phil Arrand and the ‘protein hustler’ Dave Skaith both making great contributions. Paulo One-Shot Parker has even earned local fame from his crushing performances with the bat or the cut shot to be precise. Not forgetting the rest of our batsmen however. Other than myself of course, we have the capability to bat all the way down the order - which has been the reason for scores of 318 and 290 in the past two weeks. I myself haven’t been short of trophies this year for my performances on the field. The Jonathan Jugg award is yet to leave my hands this season, at least there’s something I can hold on to!
