Founded in 1949, Forest field two sides in both the Nidderdale & District Amateur Cricket League and the Harrogate & District Amateur Evening Cricket League. Situated at Calcutt, near to Knaresborough and Harrogate, North Yorkshire, the cricket ground is overlooked by The Union Hotel public house - offering fine food, drink, a wide range of entertainments and an excellent view of the cricket.

Well its the moment you have all been waiting for........ a blog from el capitano!
A disappointing day yesterday but i suppose you all blame me!! We are still in pole position so one more solid game will secure us the promotion we deserve and put KFCC back in the division they should be.
Thanks to all who came out last night to celebrate Karl Barnes's end of season drinks, the effort by all was much appreciated ;-)
Seen as its nearly the end of the season i need you all to cast your votes for the players player of the year, so if you can all send me a text with your votes so we can determine a winner.
Anyway thats enough from me for my debut in the blogging stakes so stay safe and just remember no talk on facebook about the 'P' word until everything is sealed.
